Watusi have a typical cow-like build. They are a cross between an ancient Egyptian breed of longhorn cattle and the Zebu cattle from Pakistan and India. They are well known for their impressive, upturned horns which can each reach 5 ft (150 cm) in length. Watusi have many patterns and may be solid or spotted in color. A large Trophy Watusi can weigh up to 1,600 pounds and has very lean meat.
