The Copper Springbok is one of the color phases of springbok, that have been bred on some South African game farms from naturally occurring animals. Similar in size to a common Springbok, but a copper or caramel color replaces the white found on the belly of the common Springbok and below the side stripes. Springbok Hunting can be very challenging, as the animals are primarily found in large herds. The hunter will often have to crawl on all four to get within range, without being seen by the many eyes. Springbok are agile and can reach speeds of 50+ mph and leap 10 ft in the air.
